Get expert care without leaving home
Virtual care is a great way to get the medical care you need without an in-office appointment. You’ll meet with your doctor or care team by video call using your computer or smartphone.
Virtual visits work well for a wide range of needs:
- Primary care, such as internal medicine, family medicine, pediatrics and OB-GYN
- Specialty care across 20+ services
- Minor medical concerns
- Follow-up visits
- General health questions
- New prescriptions or refills
Scheduling an online visit is easy — simply use MyChart or call your doctor’s office. Note that at the time of your appointment, you must be physically located in the same state your provider practices in.
How to start your virtual visit
Just before your appointment:
- Sign in to MyChart on your computer or smartphone 5 to 10 minutes early.
- Go to Visits and complete any requested information.
- Select Begin Video Visit to enter the virtual waiting room until your provider joins.
Virtual care is not for serious or life-threatening concerns. If you need emergency care, call 911.
