Optum Community Centers in Nevada

Our community centers are a great way for people 55 and older to stay active, learn and improve overall wellness. And there’s no charge for activities.

Our focus is on your overall wellness

If you’re looking for a way to stay connected, informed and fit, Optum Nevada Community Centers are for you. You’ll find a variety of physical and social activities, engaging presentations and supportive programs. It’s all designed with one goal in mind — helping you improve your overall well-being.

Have fun, stay fit and meet new friends at our community center

Creating a healthy lifestyle is easier when you’re not on your own. We offer dozens of ways to help you get moving and stay active at no cost. To ensure that everyone can participate, seated and standing fitness classes are offered, including:

  • Zumba 
  • Tai chi 
  • Chair yoga and chair aerobics
  • Line dancing 
  • Strength, endurance and balance classes

We also offer arts and crafts activities, knitting and crocheting classes, card game groups, bingo and more.

Optum Community Centers FAQ

No, Optum Community Centers are open to everyone age 55 and older, regardless of insurance or membership status. Certain medical services, like annual wellness visits, may require Optum membership, but most programs are available to all.

Social engagement is a core focus at our centers. We offer many opportunities to learn and connect. Through interactive activities, supportive groups and educational programs, members can build relationships, share experiences and gain valuable knowledge. These offerings are designed to reduce isolation, promote well-being and foster meaningful connections within the community.

We provide convenient access to preventive services such as Annual Wellness Visits, screenings and educational sessions on healthy living. We also integrate lifestyle classes and chronic condition management resources to reduce long-term health risks.

Optum Community Centers offer a variety of health and wellness services, which may include:

  • Flu shots and wellness clinics
  • Health screenings (for example, blood pressure or vision)
  • Mental health support groups and counseling
  • Nutrition education
  • On-site clinic services at select locations

These services help older adults stay proactive about their health. Availability may vary by center, so we recommend checking with your local Optum community center for specific offerings.
