Annual Wellness Visits help catch health problems early
This yearly visit is a powerful way to stay on top of your health and lower your chances of developing chronic illnesses.
An Annual Wellness Visit is a preventive health care visit typically covered by Medicare and other health plans. It’s designed to help you and your provider assess your overall health, identify risk factors and create a plan to help stay as healthy as you can.
You can expect:
- A complete, one-hour physical by your PCP
- A personalized health plan
- Medication and supplement review
- Preventive screenings and shots
- A chance to talk and get answers to your questions
