I don't feel heard as a parent, she pretty much waves off all concerns and doesn't explain issues such as my son having a heart murmer that might go away on it's own. This is a concerning statement to hear from a doctor

She was very condescending and dismissive. She did not try to engage with my child. My child had a panic attack and Dr. Cerniglia spoke as if she weren’t in the room. Even after this behavior made things worse for my child - Dr. Cerniglia continued to speak as if she weren’t there and said “Your child is not normal or well adjusted”. Afterwards she pulled me in the hall to talk where other people were within ear shot and told me my child needed to be medicated immediately. No one is qualified to make that assessment after meeting with someone for less than 15 minutes. She completely violated our right to privacy in that moment. She spoke over me constantly and asked leading questions. It was a terrible experience.

Knowledgeable, professional and communicative. She reassures and provides parents with information and guidance regarding the needs and responsibilities of their child. She shows passion and commitment towards the safety of the child first. A very positive and supportive pediatrician.

She does not listen, is abalist, and tries to ignore concers if there is more than 1. Extreamly poor bedside manor. Would rather deal with the issue being experienced than her as it should not be nessary becoming gruff in order for her to pretend to listen.

On the fence about her cause I like her but an incident happened last year with my daughter that left me very upset and lately she doesn’t take the time to really talk to us about anything.
