Katie Spell has been part of the nursing profession since 1990 and is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. She earned her BSN from Avila College in 1994 and, after 20+ years of nursing experience, received her MSN from Research College of Nursing in 2016. Her background includes intensive care, hospice, wellness, and cardiology. Katie's family is central to her life. She and her husband PJ have 3 children. She maintains a very active lifestyle, participating in triathlons, marathons, half marathons, and the MS 150 bike ride. She enjoys being active in her church and her children's schools through coaching track and volleyball and serving in volunteer activities.Philosophy of care
