Get support that meets your needs
Finding the right mental health support should feel simple. Our team — which includes mental health providers and psychiatrists — works with your Optum Care Washington provider to connect you with care that fits your life.
After your provider sends a referral, we'll match you with mental health support services at your clinic or nearby.* Some locations offer in-person visits, virtual visits or both. If you have questions about getting started, your care team can help guide the way.
Signs of mental health issues
Here are some signs it may be time to connect with a mental health provider:

- You're more irritable, have low energy or are using substances to cope.
- A child or teen begins avoiding school or shows sudden changes in behavior.
- A child or teen is having trouble with friends or is pulling away at home.
