Financial Privacy Rule Notice
As an additional account authentication option, we offer voice recognition technology that can capture your voiceprint and use it to identify you when you call us to access your account. A voiceprint is a record of your voice and speech patterns and is as unique as your fingerprint.
Before collecting your voiceprint, we will notify you that voiceprint authorization is available and we will ask for your permission before enrolling you in our voiceprint program. Participation in the voiceprint program is not required and you may terminate your participation at any time. Your enrollment information, including notice and consent will be recorded in compliance with applicable law, including biometric information privacy and electronic signature laws.
We will not sell, lease, trade, profit from, or re-disclose your voiceprint unless authorized by you to do so or required by law.
Once captured, your voiceprint will be stored securely in accordance with applicable law, this policy and the Optum Financial Privacy Notice. We will retain your voiceprint while you maintain an account with us. We will permanently destroy your voiceprint upon request, upon termination of your account, or as required by law. Social Security Number Protection Policy
