She is the best doctor I have ever had. And I referred her to my neighbor who was having some medical problems and she was amazed bye her professionalism, caring and getting to the bottom of her problem.

She's seems to be very caring and listens to my concerns but she is booked up for months, therefore if you want an appt it's with an unfamiliar doctor. Also I don't care for the office girls to make an appt. For me to see a specialist 36miles away when there are many specialists within 5miles!

I have been her patient for more than a decade, she is friendly and easy to talk to, she includes me in the decision-making about my health and medications. I feel she treats me like a family member. And if I have a concern, she listens and doesn't dismiss my concern. However sometimes I have to fight to get a test done and I know that has to do with the insurance coverage and not the doctor. I am satisfied with my annual exams and follow ups, but if I am sick I don't get to see her.

Dr. Mitropoulos is very professional and knowledgeable. She is also very friendly and easy to talk to. She gave me the opportunity to ask questions and answered in a way that I could understand. I felt that she was very patient with me and didn't rush through our visit.

Helen Mitropoulos, MD, is board certified in internal medicine. Dr. Mitropoulos earned her medical degree from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara, School of Medicine in Mexico. She completed her internship and residency at St. Mary Medical Center and Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Patients especially like her friendly, caring, and compassionate manner. They also appreciate how hard working and dedicated she is.
