Optum Community Centers in Arizona

If you’re 55 or older, Optum Community Centers are a great place to stay connected, informed and fit.

We focus on your well-being

Optum Community Centers are vibrant spaces for Optum members to stay active, learn new skills and connect with others.

With more than 20 different classes offered weekly at each center, there's something for almost everyone. Whether you're here to take a class, work out or simply enjoy the company of others, you'll find a welcoming environment where you truly belong.

Starting January 1, 2026, access to the Community Centers will be $25/month, billed monthly. If you have a Medicare Advantage plan with a fitness benefit through Renew Active, One Pass or Silver&Fit, that benefit can be used to cover the monthly fee.

Professionally staffed fitness centers

Get physically active in our fitness centers, which feature state-of-the-art air-powered equipment for every fitness level. Each Optum Community Center has a trainer on site during all open hours of the day who is available to show you how to use the equipment and answer any questions.

A place for fitness, friends and fun

Stay active and make friends

We offer support groups, activities like dancing, fitness and yoga, stretching, balance classes and social events like bingo and card games.

Relax and be social in our Living Room space. Join a group activity like puzzles or games, hang out with friends or just rest after class.

Find care

If you notice, I know everyone here. That’s a plus. Or they know me!
Al Gallardo, a US Army veteran, began going to his local Community Center after his wife passed away. He says that being able to take classes and make new friends at the Community Center helps him feel connected. He even started a Lunch Club where people from all walks of life — retirees, veterans, widowers — come together to share meals, swap stories and support each other. For Al, it became a place to belong. Al has even become a media spokesperson for the Community Center.
