Ended up being nothing to worry about. Good outcome.

The clinician should have taken more care in stitching the incision. Edges on one quarter of the incision length of the skin were not properly aligned for healing. A gap and ridges remain in that section after 2 weeks (up to the time of this survey).

I do not understand the last question. It seemed that his team and he had not reviewed my chart from the previous treatment as as said previously, first nurse unaware of location of intended treatments, and same areas of concern but different treatment without explanation of change.

I could have had a graft on my wound and Dr McGuire explained I could let area heal without a graft and receive a lstet graft if I felt one was needed. I was definitely included in the decision making.

Within Dermatology, I specialize in Mohs surgery, which is largely concerned with the removal and reconstruction of facial skin cancers. No two cases are identical, and I enjoy the challenge of achieving the best possible outcome for each one. I spend my time at home with three small kids and Australian Shepard. I enjoy exploring the Pacific Northwest and all its breathtaking beauty. In my free time, I enjoy learning about foreign languages, history, and computer science, especially machine learning.Philosophy of care
