Poor customer service- she came off as condescending at times. She wasn't our usual pediatrician we go to; our regular pediatrician Is much better at listening to the patient's concerns and making them feel heard instead of looking down on them. I've never in my life written a review after a visit, this one felt worth taking the time out to give feedback. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone. I never even received a summary visit packet from her at the end of the appointment, which I have received for every visit I've ever been to since going to Optum over the last few years whether it was for myself or my kids.

Dr. Shin is absolutely amazing. She makes me feel so comfortable, listens to all our concerns and lets us be active participants in our son's care.

I aim to help parents provide loving care for their children and teach my patients to care for themselves as they grow up. I have a special interest in working with teens and young adults to help them take charge of their health as they get ready to take on the world.
