I just saw Dr Douglas for my annual wellness visit. He was very friendly and easy to talk to. I had him write a referral for me to get a cardiologist the first time I saw him back in [omitted]. When I tried to make an appointment with this new cardiologist, I was told that he was not accepting any new patients. I sent a message to Dr Douglas through My Chart explaining the situation and never received any message in return. At my annual wellness visit I asked him if he reads the messages sent to him and he told me his medical staff reads them and sends messages to him, but he did not receive a message about my situation. He did take time to write me a new referral for a cardiologist plus two other referrals for appointments with a podiatrist and a dermatologist.

I really liked him. It was the first time seeing him. Had I have known to contact him in the beginning I could have saved a trip there and got the referral over the phone. I had already been to the emergency room. He seemed to care about what I was going through.
