-
It was wonderful that Dr. Byrnes reviewed my MRI results prior to my arrival. He had a clear understanding of my challenges and clearly defined a path forward.
-
I provided the medical information due to the fact that it was preformed by another facility not associated with Optum.
-
No help at all
-
Dr Byrnes was very thorough and helpful.
-
Dr Brynes is often impatient and struggles to be thoughtful and considerate of my symptoms and concerns. He takes them personal and tries to convince me that he did nothing wrong (which I never claimed or said he did something wrong) Feels like he is more worried about his career and surgery track record than patient needs. While he is trying to be nice, his impatience and disagreement can be felt and seen through his body language and communication style.
-
He's great. Professional and pleasant, thorough yet efficient.
-
Dr. Byrnes clearly described my condition and treatment options.
-
Very clear and honest what he seen and staged corse of action

Dr. Byrnes is amazing and well beyond the gold standard. He is friendly, personable, a highly skilled communicator and a good listener. He explained test results in great detail and easy to understand terms. He answered all my questions completely with specific detail. His visit follow-up notes were also detailed and very helpful. I appreciated the 30-minute new patient appointment. It took all 30 minutes to review my situation. A standard 10-minute appointment would have left me with many unanswered questions.Thank you very much Dr. Byrnes. I'm so happy my primary care physician referred me to you!

Dr. Byrnes is an exceptional physician.

About Thomas Byrnes, MD
My clinical focus is getting people back to the activities they enjoy. This includes comprehensive management of sports, traumatic, and degenerative injuries with a focus on the shoulder and knee. I perform both arthroscopic and open surgery. My passion for activity and my desire to help others led me to orthopedic surgery. I love the Pacific Northwest and spending time outdoors with my family - hiking, skiing, getting out on the water. I am a dedicated Seahawks, Mariners and Kraken fan.Philosophy of care
I want to meet patients where they are and understand their health goals. Working together, we can develop the best treatment for their needs. While there are many common injuries we see, there is no 'one-size-fits-all' treatment plan.Gender
