She did not have information that I am allergic to iodine, which should be in my files. She ordered a CT scan without contrast and I said good because I'm allergic to iodine and she said it wasn't in my files.

This was my establishing care visit with Dr. Greenman. Her patience in learning my complicated medical history was fantastic. Her bedside manner is kind and she wants to know her patients.

About Susan Greenman, MD
I chose medicine after serving in the Peace Corps in Cameroon. I saw how hard people worked to get basic care and how many lives were lost to preventable diseases. That experience inspired me to help make a change, and it still guides how I care for patients today. My clinical interests include gender-affirming care, integrative medicine, substance use disorder, women's health, and global health. I also perform procedures such as skin biopsies, IUD and Nexplanon insertions, joint injections, and obstetric care.Philosophy of care
