Dr Aslam gets ten stars. At one point in visit we both started saying something and she deferred to me. And she validated my thought about my test results. She discusses options. She doesn't over react. She offers options with explanation and support. Very solid professional while being warm and approachable. My wife sees her too. Both big fans!

Dr. Aslam always knows what's going on with me and is well informed about my previous visits and other providers. She does an excellent job of wrangling and referring several specialists and somehow has her finger on the pulse of my whole medical world. This visit I admitted I hadn't started a treatment she recommended last time because I'm worried about potential long term effects and she was quick to tell me that was fine and let's look at alternatives! In the past I've been admonished by other providers for not just doing what we agreed at the last appt but I feel totally comfortable coming to Dr. Aslam with that kind of concern.

It seems for an Annual appointment all that it is good for us refilling RXs, ordering routine blood work and listening to my chest. No other questions were able to be answered by the Dr. I was out within 7 minutes. I've been at the EverettCinic/Optum since 1992, and Annuals were always used to answer a few concerns, and check in on your overall health.
