This was the first time I've left a doctor's appointment feeling frustrated, confused, and disappointed for even trying to address my concerns. I had already completed my pre-visit check-in online, but during the appointment I was told I had not and was handed another questionnaire covering the same questions, only for my completed online forms to later be found. I also explained that I had recently come into urgent care after cutting the tip of my finger off, which understandably impacted my stress and blood pressure at the time, but that context seemed to be missed during the discussion. Overall, the appointment felt unfocused, communication around concerns like blood pressure was confusing and unnecessarily alarming, and after months of waiting for my annual exam, I was ultimately told there was no time left to complete it.

I was told that I should have figured out my problem by myself before even coming in. He wasn't helpful one bit and honestly quite rude with his tone. He made me very uncomfortable.

Everyone was great. I was enjoying my appointment until the homosexual man in the blood draw place felt that me exposing my arm for a blood draw was too inappropriate for him... He was rude and not professional.

Dr Cuthbert is patient, listens well, and provides time needed. I dont feel rushed. He is open to questions. He provides information and explanations in a way that is understandable. I feel heard and supported. He provides a good example of patient centered care.

My clinical interests include addiction medicine (Suboxone, Subutex) and integrative medicine using complementary treatments and osteopathic manipulation. I am also a LGBTQIA+ ally.
