First time I have seen Sanjiv. He was well prepared and answered all of my questions.

When my sister picked up prescription at Costco there was an additional medication that I had no idea what it was for and it was never discussed at my appointment. I had to call clinic to find out what was going on. I was not happy

Didn't feel that he wanted to take the time needed to answer my questions but I also feel since I haven't had cancer before I didn't have good questions to know what to ask. Said he had another patient to see which might have been true but saw him right after without mask heading to elevators. Made me wonder where that Chemo patient was and why he had no mask on. Very poor directions concerning meds after infusion- it was not explained that the example for taking the meds was so that YOU COULD GET AHEAD OF THE CHEMO!!! It was explained as needed which I now know is farthest from the truth. All he did was read the papers to me which I could have done myself at home. My experience with this Chemo class I would rate Very Poor but I really feel that had my experience been better that having the class would be amazing to prepare you for the infusions and what to expect. It was never explained to me the importance of getting ahead of the Chemo side effects. I was to have lab work after Chemo and he said he'd help getting lidocaine on port then said it was too late. I found out later that the lab dept draws blood through arm vein and nurses that do infusions are the only ones that access through the port. I really question the knowledge and ability of this person. This was not a good experience for me
