The clinician has others do most of the tests required, which I understand. The use of a scribe gives info. To him about me. He doesn't seem prepared about my status unless the scribe tells him information.

This was my first visit with Dr. Sameer Khan. At least 2 weeks prior to my appointment I called all my previous eye specialists to send my records to Dr. Khan's office. I phoned Dr. Khan's office to ask that a note be included to ask that Dr. Khan review my previous records before my appointment. Some of my information was available on MyChart. Dr. Khan apparently had not seen any of the information before my appointment. He said the records weren't there yet and said that they may have arrived but weren't posted yet. This is a big disappointment. I have unusual & complicated visual problems and was trying to be proactive.

From the beginning, I was not completely understanding the procedure and certain details (like my needing to not have worn my contacts for 10 days prior to initial exam) was not properly explained.
