I was upset he was reading my records in front of me and was explaining in kindergarten language ( like trying to explain what is his specialty he said I'm a plumber, and you need to see electrician , I was expecting more professional explanations, he could of asked me if I'm working in medical field, I actually have masters degree in pharmaceutical industry, so I had to go back look all my records and better understand what exactly happened.Anyway he was probably very knowledgeable but I didn't have much conversation,

Dr. CARDONA GUARACHE recommended against the procedure I was sent there to discuss. This was appropriate. And while I was there he solved a heart rhythm problem that two previous cardiologists have missed. He made a change in my medication that has improved my quality of life tremendously. Very grateful to him for this.

Dr had apparently not reviewed the record related to my surgery to know the extent of the surgical procedure. He referenced a mitral valve replacement, but the actual procedure was a mitral valve repair. Dr seemed confused overall. Dr seemed to believe that I had atrial fibrillation prior to surgery, however, that was Incorrect. After he took time to quickly review the medical record, he then appeared to have more understanding about my situation and ordered a CT scan to check If the clip placed in the heart area during surgery remained in place which would determine if anticoagulant therapy will be necessary.

I needed to fill in information,but Dr did not have in terms of my hospital stay and that I had to have a transfusion while there
