I really like my primary provider. Always listens, cares, and provides great medical advice.

Dr. Surana has been my PCP for several years. I have appreciated him as my PCP but this was the 1st time I saw him for an injury. I realize when I had pain from injury, etc aI was seen by the walk in or someone else. So I wasn't aware of how he treats pain management. I had just fallen with multiple back and rib fractures the day before and already he wanted me to get off opioids as quickly as possible because of constipation. I came in to see him because my pain was escalating and aaI wondered if I had more injuries. I can't take ibuprofen because of gerd and I only had enough Oxydodone till Fri. He only prescribed Gabapentin. I took it that night but it made me unsteady and didn't help. I called Fri morning and spoke to his MA or nurse. I stated the pain was worse, the Gabapentin didn't work , and could I try a muscle relaxant. She stated his really busy and might not get back to me. I checked my chart and a text from Safeway but the was no communication from either.

He is a great doctor, very friendly has a very good way of sharing information. I learned a lot from the visit. you did a good job with helping me get over some of my concerns.
