Mika is the BEST! I always worry I make her late for her next appt cause she never rushes me and she listens w empathy and understanding. Live her. I would always wait if I needed to and never get upset if late cause, she is such a good listener to concerns.

Mika is fantastic. I feel so lucky as a patient to have her on my care team. I felt heard, supported and she helped me come up with a reasonable plan of action to address all of my concerns. She is one of those providers that you follow if they ever leave Optum.

Clinician performed at best a perfunctory exam given my chief complaint. She listened to my lungs without taking my clothes off and performed no other exam other than vitals. I was also not offered an after visit summary.

Growing up, I saw loved ones treated poorly in the healthcare system. This inspired me to go into medicine to help improve it and better serve patients. I completed my Bachelor of Science at the University of California, Santa Barbara. I earned my Master of Science and physician assistant training at Western University of Health Sciences. My clinical focus is in internal and family medicine, with experience in pain medicine. I can perform joint, bursa, and trigger point injections for pain relief.Philosophy of care
