All he did was say I can't do anything for you because Kaiser didn't send images of the mri. MA walked in and said it was his fault that images weren't sent because he put in the wrong dob. I asked the doctor if we should reschedule once he has them and he acted as if it still wouldn't help and told me to do my stretches and continued to bad mouth Kaiser permanente

Clinician was excellent! He couldn't help me and explained why in easy to understand speech. He was empathetic, yet professional and I felt heard.

He knew the former treatments that I had already tried which was awesome. I didn't have to repeat everything over and over.

I left the appointment frustrated and confused. Dr Carpenter did not do a physical assessment other than reflex check. I had to show him the lack of movement. I asked him to look at the past MRI. Then he ordered an MRI and said I could come back and discuss it with me. I had to ask what he was looking for and if an MRI should be as soon as possible and he said no my condition would not get worse. Dr. Carpenter was rude and dismissive. He said that I could go back to the Dr. I saw years ago if I want. I will not see Dr. Carpenter again.

I really appreciated Dr.Carpenter's candor, he was light hearted, funny, laid back and most importantly very knowledgeable regarding my scoliosis. He had all the x-rays and the CT scan and used them to show me as he explained my concerns. He also assured me that everything was okay and that my active lifestyle could not only continue but would benefit the health of my spine.

I I was of no concern to him. When I asked a question he avoided answering. I didn't ask any more questions. I don't want to see him again.
