I transferred care after my prior physician retired. I had been told that my medical records would be transferred to this office but they only had a small portion.

Dr. Patel Is so good about reminding me that tests are due, such as my mammogram, vaccinations, etc. I appreciate that very much and know that these opportunities won't be missed. But the time is up by the time it comes to my questions about my health. I've asked about how menopause affects my cholesterol results. No explanation. I've asked about why my thyroid seems hypo sometimes, other times hyper. No explanations or even discussion. I've asked about if my splenectomy has anything to do with my high LDL. No scientific explanation, just Have you ever thought about taking a statin?' Even though my HDL is high and my ratio doesn't support my being on a statin. Optum is putting a tremendous amount of demand on providers such as Dr. Patel, and it appears to be for the benefit of profit. By the time we've gone through all the required questions required by Otpum, many of which don't apply to me, my questions are ignored and I feel as if I've just walked out of a sales presentation.

I was in for follow- up to weight loss medication. I was down 48 lbs since I started; Dr P never showed any encouragement or recognition of any progress at all. Very discouraging. Came home feeling defeated and depressed.
