First meeting with her and I felt bery much at ease and informed of next visit.

I told her that my oncology team thought the Baker's cyst should be addressed. I could have other tests: heart, kidney, liver. My oncology team was surprised that no action was taken.

I didn't have a very successful visit with Dr. Belknap this time. I did on all other occasions but yesterday was strange. I guess I should not have typed up a big long list of issues - I think she only wanted to have a medication review. So perhaps it was my mistake, but she didn't address anything on my list accept like 2 things that I brought up. I think I share too much - I will try to correct that. But the appointment left me feeling really bad. One example: She knew I had had several colonoscopies with polyps removed, some of which were pre-cancerous - yet, she said why don't I just do the Cologuard test (lots of people have colon polyps). She seemed to indicate she didn't believe me that any of the polyps were pre-cancerous (even though on our very first appt. I had provided her with all of the reports). Eventually she said okay to submitting a referral but seemed exasperated at my insisting it needed to be a colonoscopy (because that's what my gastroenterologist had recommended). Anyway, not a fun appt. Willing to take all the blame, though. I'll make sure not to bring a list next time. I guess I was taking up way too much of her time.

I could not ask for better treatment from Dr. Belknap. She was as always, delightful, helpful, informative, caring and knowledgeable.

Dr. Belknap listened and understood my concern regarding taking antibiotics. She prescribed an alternative to oral antibiotics - which I really appreciated. She was compassionate and caring. I felt comfortable with her.

Dr. Belknap is great, easy to talk to and very informative. She took the time to answer my questions and discuss the plan going forward. I would highly recommend her.

Dr. Belknap recommended and increase dose of the anti-viral plus using no tears soap for washing and an antibiotic for secondary infections all of which made it easier to take care of my mom [omitted]

Dr. Laurie Belknap D.O. Agreed to my request for a different test for GFR( Cystatin C)since my GFR has improved significantly, [omitted] Compared to [omitted]. I appreciate that she Is open to my Ideas regarding the cause of anemia Dx, despite the fact that I responded rapidly to Iron supplement.

She had medical records available that she would not read about my 50-year use of NP Thyroid. She cut my prescription level as a result of not being familiar with the difference between blood tests and synthetic thyroid and NP.

Seemed unsure of the treatment I thought I needed. Provided a referral to a walk in clinic that wasn't open until 1PM and could not help me.

Dr. Belknap was able to clarify several medical surprises that were revealed during hospitalization and rehab. Extremely helpful problem solving issued & information about upcoming procedure.
