The clinician mentioned other potential problems as seen in my eye exam to the nurse, using medical terms, but did not share them with me (shouldn't I know too??) Also, my eyes were dilated, but I was never offered eye protection at the end of the appointment. I struggled to drive afterwards and developed a headache and eye strain.

Dr Kinza is a thorough, compassionate and knowledgeable physician. I appreciated all the pictures of the freckle on my retina to determine it had not grown and continued to look benign. Her skills and information, based on research, reassured.

About Kinza Ahmad, MD
My practice includes vitreoretinal surgery, lasers and intravitreal injections. I also treat conditions including diabetic retinopathy, retinal tears and detachments, age-related macular degeneration, vein and artery occlusions, and macular holes. I consider medicine the most beautiful gift and I feel honored to take care of my patients' eyes and vision. I was inspired to pursue ophthalmology when a family member lost vision in one eye and saw firsthand the impact that vision can have on a person's life.Philosophy of care
