I liked her a lot at the visit, but my confidence in her dwindled after the visit in which she didn't respond to me as she had said and planned to then allow me to start the med I needed. It waa a full 24 hours after her initial plan to respond was in 1 or 2!

Dr. Vanderzee is an inedible practitioner who really listens to me and believes me when I share things with her. She meets me where I am and I'm a healthier person for being under her care.

Dr. Vanderzee was, as usual, upbeat and caring. She is so easy to talk with and I feel really seen in my appointments with her. Coming from a family of doctors, and seeing a lot of doctors in my legal practice, I am a bit of a tough customer sometimes. Polyclinic/Optum is really fortunate to have a provider who Is so smart, kind, and competent.

I embrace the full variety of family medicine with special interests in LGBTQIA health (including gender care), reproductive health, pediatrics, and teen health. I perform in-office procedures including IUDs, colposcopies, and skin biopsies, among others. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two young kids, hiking, playing softball, cooking, and dancing.Philosophy of care
