She is a great doctor who listens to my problems

Kay was filling in for my regular clinician who is on maternity leave. I was very impressed with Kay. She had all the information taken from my glucose monitor and showed me the data on her computer. I expressed some concerns over my last visit and she offered some suggestions but included me in the discussion and final decision. She seemed very competent and I was very pleased with the visit. Another very good provider.
-
She seemed a little tired this past visit, not quite as engaged in problem solving ideas as she was on previous visits.
-
I Didn't bring everything she needed to do her work. She still adjusted my insulin correctly and feel I can start over and do better next appt.
-
Dr Moua has been very knowledgeable concerning my care. She has shown me the proper way to use my meter and has made some specific suggestions that have helped me. I am very satisfied with my ongoing treatment.
-
Always an excellent, collaborative visit with Kay Moua. She is an expert on insulin pumps and CGM data interpretation, and she actively involves me in reviewing my data & showing me what she sees, which I really appreciate. She always makes me feel empowered in managing my diabetes. Optum is very fortunate to have Kay.
-
I was very pleased with the interaction to improve our plan going forward to control my diabetes.
-
The visit was a waste of time. And then I got the bill and I was very frustrated
-
Computer could not get my information up so she could compare last visit to current
-
She called the cops on my wife and I because she thought I was abusive to my wife. We have been married for 53 years and she was concerned and wanted to make sure we were addressing her concerns and was answering the questions and I asked her to let me answer the questions apparently she saw that as abusive.
-
She was prepared to discuss my lab results and addressed my concerns.

About Kay Moua, DNP, ARNP
I've worked in the medical field for 30+ years. I shifted my focus to diabetes care in 2010, after realizing many patients with heart and kidney disease also have diabetes. Noticing the lack of support, I went back to school to help improve the lives of these patients. I have vast experience managing all types of diabetes and its complications. I also treat high blood pressure, cholesterol, obesity, and thyroid disease. I'm a certified trainer and an expert in interpreting continuous glucose monitors and insulin infusion pumps.Philosophy of care
I believe in educating patients and using a holistic care approach. Education helps patients understand and follow through with treatment plans. I consider personal beliefs, cultural practices, traditional and modern medicines, and technology when choosing treatments.Gender
