He didn't do a physical exam nor address the extreme cramping or short menstrual cycle. He seemed to only address some concerns and in a very nonchalant manner. I was not actively doubled over in pain like I was half an hour earlier but all attempts at telemedicine the night before were referring me to the ER. So if it was that concerning, I don't know why all of a sudden it wasn't that big of a deal.

What I like about this Doctor is that after examination, he always takes the time to listen to me and my concerns. He explained to me that another medication that I take, ( humira), can cause whacky things to happen with regards to my immunity system

I made the appointment to discuss a pain that I had behind my left shoulder blade. Although this is my shoulder blade, I made it clear that I'd had disc Issues In my neck In the past that caused nerve Issues and wanted to find out if the pain I'm currently experiencing was caused by this as well. I also mentioned that I recently started feeling tingling through my shoulder, armpit and chest. Clearly there is some kind of nerve issue. I learned online that pinched nerves in the neck can create back pain. I mentioned this, but my clinician seemed convinced that it was simply a shoulder issue. I had an xray that was only for my shoulder. No images were taken of my neck. I was still feeling pain and tingling from my back to chest, but because the images showed just moderate arthritis, he felt I just needed to go to physical therapy. Given all the information I shared about my history of neck disc degeneration, the pain and tingling I was experiencing, and that mild arthritis wouldn't cause the symptoms I was experiencing, he should've at least had images taken of my neck just to be sure. Instead, he quickly diagnosed the problem before even seeing the shoulder images. Also, there was no further discussion about any other possibilities.Ultimately I went to another doctor the next day, who did listen to what I shared. He even looked at past doctor visits where my neck was examined. This led him to get images of my shoulder and neck, which led to a diagnosis of neck issues causing pain behind my shoulder blade. Due to your doctors need to rush through things and not consider the details I was sharing. I will not be going back to him.

He seemed disinterested in giving us care, I didn't feel like he was taking our concerns seriously, seemed like he either didn't want be there or he just didn't care for us. And of course as usual as all your other providers he was rushing to get us out of there

Although he prescribed antibiotics and sent them to the pharmacy that same day, he told me to first try an over the counter med for two days to see if I would feel improvement, and if so, to skip the antibiotics. I waited til half of the next day, but then ran over to the pharmacy since I really felt I needed the antibiotics without waiting two more days. I had been sick for a full week, and I have a history of asthma, so I was pleased to simply start the antibiotics without any further two-day experiment with Robutussn, or whatever. I also knew from past experience with this type of spitting of phlegm and coughing for over a week, that antibiotics is what helped me recover, not over the counter this or that.
