Uncaring, not empathetic. Offered NO information. The only info I received was because of the very few questioned I asked. After having unusual pain (compared to the same surgery years ago) for several days and expressing concerns and that something wasnt right, the second the stent was removed (a week to early at minimum) I was in pretty intense pain. I told Dr Yoon and he was very dismissive, didnt HEAR anything I had been saying for a week and sent me on my way. I ended up at the ER just 3 hours later with a fully obstructed ureter.

About Jeong H. Yoon, MD
Urology is a subspecialty of surgery, and it appealed to me because it combined the hands on nature of surgery with the more traditional aspects of medicine listening to patients in a one on one setting and developing a treatment plan tailored to their needs. Whether I'm performing a surgery for kidney cancer or treating someone with kidney stones, there will be long term follow up care involved which allows me to develop a personal relationship with them over time.Philosophy of care
The most important thing I want my patients to know is that I'm here to listen.Gender
