My chief concern was regarding sleep apnea. Dr. Kim had available to her the sleep apnea test that I had over 18 years ago from a different clinic. She knew the details as we were speaking. I was impressed.

Listened and helped me understand how my lack of good sleep could be affecting me. Gave options and helped me choose the best option for me.

Dr Kim was very thorough. She did an excellent job listening to my symptoms and concerns and made recommendations to improve my health. She noticed things that previous Drs missed. She didn't just read my CPAP results and accept as normal but listen to my struggles. I felt like I found a wonderful advocate and partner to a healthier me.

Called day ahead of appointment about previous sleep study information from other locations not able to obtain in short notice

She told me about a pillow to reduce shoulder pain when sleeping on my side but failed to include such pillows in my visit summary. She mentioned two other pillows, but not those that reduce shoulder pain. She didn't reply when I asked her what they were in a MyChart message. Guess I'll have to phone her office to find out what to get. But she's an excellent doctor.
