My appt. Was for a transfer of care and I had a chance to get to know Dr. Lau a little and to let him get to know me.

I was switching to Dr Lau as my primary care provider as a result of my previous provider retiring, so this was my first visit with him. I was immediately convinced I had made the right choice. He was very professional but not stuffy or formal. He'd familiarized himself with my medical history to a remarkable degree. One of my labs was off and he was diligent about ensuring I retested promptly and the retest was fine. Everything about the visit inspired confidence.
