Dr. Sorenson was absolutely very good about any problems on my skin. He asked before every procedure he preformed and asked permission before any procedures where done

It is difficult to access accurately with one 20 minute visit. The doctor diagnosed a condition that I was not aware of and prescribed medication and I scheduled a follow up appointment 4 out as recommended. But now, in reading more about the medication I have concerns and would have benefited from a more detailed discussion of risks and benefits. Regarding my medical records, during the visit he did not refer to or ask questions of me regarding my medical history.

The only surprise was for years dermatolgists would have just clipped my skin tag that is growing near my eye. This time it was not possible and I need to see another specialist. It seems a lot of doctors to do a lot of things that could have been done more easily in the past, thus adding to the system backlog and expense.

I don't know if any previous medical records were requested or forwarded. I am leaving my previous derm and am hoping to be a longtime patient of Dr Sorenson.

He gave me a lot of information what could cause my condition but I do the very most of it already. It was a generic advice, not tailored to me as a patient.

About Eric Sorensen, MD
Dr. Sorensen treats many dermatologic conditions including skin cancer detection and surgery, psoriasis, eczema, hidradenitis suppurativa, skin allergy and patch testing, medication reactions, blistering skin disease, skin disease in transplant and cancer patients. Dr. Sorensen was initially inspired to become a physician through a fascination with biology and enriching volunteer experiences in medicine.
