I think this might have been the best appointment I have ever had with any doctor. Dr. Skirm is a cut above. She reviewed everything, explained everything, and offered some new treatment options for my diabetes. She fully involved me in discussion and explained everything. I appreciate how thorough she is and how proactive she is as a doctor. As a person gets older ([omitted]) and starts developing some of the health issues that come with age, having a PCP like Dr. Skirm is invaluable.

Dr Skirm knows me better, inside and out, better than I do. I've had a lot of extraneous medical issues going on. There is a lot that I don't know about the causes and affects. Dr Skirm knows how to weed through it all and derives a game plan. She explains what she wants me do do, what to look for, when or if to follow up. Based on some pretty intense past medical adventures with Dr Skirm, she has become known as my guardian angel. That hasn't seemed to change.
