I haven't seen a doctor in years, except for some emergency issues, but I was impressed with how computerized the entire system is (just 50 years late) and how nicely the different offices can be linked, etc... It makes so much more sense than we, as patients, having to remember our history and verbally give estimates, which we will be forgetting or confusing, especially the older we get. I saw that the doctor could see the computer screen with my information, instead of the clumsy physical charts, which depending on only the doctor's interpretation of what transpired. NOW, we can review any notes after a visit and send in a message to make any corrections (even we as patients may misspeak and after reviewing, we can correct those errors, as I did. I often say a word now and mean another one and don't realize it until I see it in writing.) I really like the updated computerized system!!!

First time I had seen this person. He is the nurse practitioner working with the doctor that I would usually see.

This clinician was nice, however, I was a bit frustrated because I was given an antibiotic that was less effective for my condition and did not see any change in symptoms when taking the antibiotic. I tried to contact the staff by calling and using MyChart to see if something needed to change and I wasn't getting a quick response and the response I did get was telling me to do all the things I was doing. It was frustrating, I had to make another appointment to get my meds changed to finally start to see improvement three days after my original appointment with this clinician. Super frustrating.

My path to medicine began with immigrating from Vietnam and helping my family navigate the U.S. healthcare system.
