Dr. Cynthia Smyth is an exceptional primary care physician. She is professional, kind, and never makes you feel rushed. She truly listens, makes you feel heard, and takes every concern seriously. Rather than dismissing symptoms or abnormal test results, she follows up with appropriate testing and practices thoughtful, evidence-based medicine.She is incredibly thorough and explains things clearly, giving you confidence that every decision is based on sound medical reasoning. What has impressed me most is her dedication to her patients-she even took the time to respond to messages on her day off.Dr. Smyth has a calm, cheerful demeanor that makes every visit feel relaxed and stress-free. She creates an environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and discussing concerns openly.She is intelligent, compassionate, responsive, and genuinely cares about her patients. Previously provider used to do a full exam, I would get into a gown and she would do a full check. Since the switch to shorter appointments, this is no longer occurring which is disappointing.

My experience with everything online is with paper you could flip easily what you wanted with online you gotta click through different things so so who knows how far she's gotta go to find the information she needs like for example, the my chart said I hadn't had a shingle shot which wasn't true and my Doc Found I had a shingle shot.

Dr Smyth is the benchmark for patient centered care. She goes beyond concerns with biologic structure and functioning and listens intensely to understand the experience of symptoms and suffering. She is an anchoring force because of her liveliness and commitment to the wellbeing of her patients. In lieu of going through the motions of modern medicine emphasis on efficiency, commercialization and the quick formulation of a clinical fix, she offers the genuine care of fullness of being which makes you feel understood. If I were a physician engineer, she would be the best doctor to collaborate in infusing humanism into data and technologies through her sense of caregiving as a defining existential act of benevolence.

Dr. Smyth enjoys treating both men and women, from age 16 and above. She is interested in preventive medicine as well as managing chronic medical conditions, such as diabetes and high blood pressure. In her spare time Dr. Smyth enjoys reading, running, cheering on the Seahawks and going to her children's soccer games and recitals.Philosophy of care
