I had the Dr forms on what I needed but was told those are my copies

I had a collection of symptoms. The doctor said that was too many for him to deal with in one appointment, that I needed a number of specialists, and that my best course of action was to go straight to an emergency room, which I did and which was the right treatment. So even though the doctor did not diagnose my fundamental issues, he did see and recommend my best course of action. And he might have saved my life by that recommendation.

Dr Culbert Serrano is an excellent doctor. He is the reason I go to Optum. He listens to all my concerns. Clearly answered all my questions and explained it very well that myself can understand even without medical background. He is very knowledgeable and care for us as patients.

This doctor is very good. I am looking for a PCP to replace my existing who is retiring. Unfortunately this doctor will be retiring soon as well.

As this was my first encounter with Dr. Serrano (and as he told me probably close to the last as he would be retiring next year) I was disappointed with the lack of thoroughness of his examination. He answered all my questions, yet his entire physical examination on my body only lasted 5-10 minutes (mainly stethoscope for the heart and lungs, otoscope in the ears, and palpitating my belly), much shorter than those administered by Dr. Taagen. He did not even ask me to take off my socks to view my feet. Bottom line, I was expecting more and will be searching for another physician.

Dr. Serrano was excellent in every way. A little rushed but that's not his fault given the policies of Optum a big change from Poly Clinic!

Dr. Culbert Sorrano Is one of the primary reasons I seek care at the Polyclinic! He Is extraordinary! His vast knowledge, prep for appointment and readiness to refer as needed has fostered great trust. Recently he referred me for additional evaluation of my breast history and recent test/lab results. This has been life saving and has increased my awareness and exposure to care at a level not offered to me before.I am thankful!!!

I requested that I receive care from a different endocrinologist at Optum and this request was not honored. Further attempts to contact my Internist regarding this have been frustrating and fruitless.
