I saw Dr. Clifford Hou today for a meniscus tears in my right knee, and it was a very positive experience. He was highly professional, respectful, and made excellent use of the appointment time. He listened carefully to my concerns and ensured I felt heard without rushing the discussion. I especially appreciated how clearly he explained my condition, along with the available treatment options, including both the benefits and potential drawbacks. This helped me feel informed and actively involved in my care. His kind and approachable manner made it easy to ask questions, all of which were answered thoroughly. Overall, I left the visit feeling confident in his medical judgment, very satisfied with the care provided, and comfortable recommending him to others.

Dr hou was unhappy regarding the extended wait between my referral for an MRI and the MRI . The delay made the surgery more difficult and the outcome less likely to be a success

The doctor was excellent. He asked me about me, and about my chronic illnesses and disability. That gave him a much more thorough understanding of my joint issue and what treatments might be helpful as well as which ones to avoid due to my other conditions. I especially appreciated him having a clue what my various chronic illnesses even were, much less how they would affect my body's response to injections, anesthesia, or surgery.

My clinical focus is to individualize orthopedic and sports medicine care. I enjoy getting to know my patients and spending time with them to discuss their goals before determining the most appropriate treatment strategy to keep them functional and pain-free. I treat injuries such as ligament and tendon tears, fractures, joint instability, and cartilage damage.
