I'm very confused after this visit. I saw 4 providers at your practice, but 3 specifically for the same concern. Each time I got passed off to someone else. Dr. Demas discussed surgery with me, but then said she was moving and couldn't. Dr. Starr was great and I really would have loved to stick with her. She really listened and ordered additional imaging. But then said she doesn't do the surgery I need. That led me to this appointment for a surgery consult where I was told by Dr. Coad that surgery might not resolve my problem, I should try physical therapy first. I was also told after trying PT and even electing for surgery my symptoms may not resolve. So I'm not sure why such a vast difference between one doctor to another. I'm going to try the PT before getting surgery. But I'm just not sure I want to pursue surgery at your practice now. I'm sort of feeling like no one actually feels comfortable doing surgery on me? Dr. Coad was very kind and professional. She understood my frustration and did make it clear she would do the surgery if I elect it. I just don't know why none of the doctors can agree on what my issue actually is. I hope your office can try to avoid this situation in the future.

Great staff, very nice people. I would only suggest after care paperwork be available for patients undergoing procedures. I had a leep procedure and all this stuff keeps happening to my body that is concerning. I have been using Google to find they are normal symptoms, but it would be nice to have advance knowledge of these, and have paper work from the doctor to reference regarding my symptoms.I am still waiting to hear of results, but I dont think they're In yet.Again, great care. Loved my doctor and her nurse. Just some tips to help improve women's care and women's experience

It's almost hard to know where to begin to document all that went right with this appointment.I can't emphasize this enough: Dr. Coad knows how to put patients at ease. She breaks down medical issues thoroughly and clearly. She listens and asks if you have questions. She faces you (not the computer) the whole time she is with you and makes steady eye contact.In this case, a biopsy was required. She spoke with candor that it would not be pain free. That there would be some discomfort and asked if I was still willing to go forward with the procedure. The data are clear: If cancer is present, early detection and treatment provides the best path to healing. So yes, I wanted to go forward.She discussed each step In the procedure before it happened. At the end of the procedure, she discussed how I would be informed of the results. Not only was I informed, she called to discuss them with me, even though the findings were negative. It is so rare that calls like that occur. Again, I understand very well the time pressures on physicians. I can only tell you that as a patient, that call was powerful medicine of Its own.I ask you to realize, appreciate and reward Dr. Coad for the way she approaches her medical practice. It truly Is very, very rare.
