After an unexpected Hospital Emergency Dept visit, I was expected to have an office visit with my PCP, Ashlea O'Shea. I was impressed that Ashlea had carefully reviewed the records from the ED visit and was ready with recommendations for further tests to determine underlining Issues.

Ashlea is always thorough in explaining things to me about the results of my lab tests and recommendations to improve my health.

Optum's Internet ability in general or, the clinician, informed me that the X-ray orders was faxed to Swedish Mill Creek. Upon arriving at SMC no orders were found. So I left and asked that they be faxed again. Returned to SMC and still no orders. Figure out why this did work. I'm tired of dealing with Optum's lack of accessibility for X-rays, blood draws and an actual reception phone to get a hold of clinicians during working hours.

I don't believe that Ashlea reviewed my lab work prior to my appointment. I had labs done a week before. I also sent her an email 8 days prior to my appointment regarding a medication refill question and never got a response back from her. Julie, RN responded back saying that Ashlea would address my concern which she never did.

I have a passion for sexual/reproductive health, including contraception and both PrEP and PEP for HIV and STI prevention.
