I feel like Dr Huston thinks outside of the standard medical advice box. She gives me recommendations of books and articles to read to help me make informed decisions. This attention to my needs is new to me from medical professionals. I am also getting older and only now needed frequent medical visits, and based on experiences with others and their doctors, the bar I set was pretty low. Dr Huston exceeds these expectations by leaps and bounds.

Ana Huston is the 4th primary care person I've had at this clinic over the years, and I think is my favorite so far. Her bedside manner is excellent, she listens very well and actively makes me part of a real conversation about my options and treatments. I appreciate that enormously. The only thing that could have been better was if there had been record sharing between your portal and the ones for various specialists I've seen, like the gastroenterologist I saw a couple of years ago.

I see patients of all ages and have special interests in preventive care, women's health and children's health. I enjoy helping patients manage diabetes, high blood pressure and other conditions using lifestyle changes. I'm trained in lactation support and mindfulness. I chose a career in medicine at a young age when my family lived in Lima, Peru. One of my uncles worked as a doctor in a rural town.
