Condescending, rude, extremely rushed. Didn't listen or engage. Never again.

Always in a rush. Pleasant and empathetic regarding pain imposed, but pretty offhand about the two concerns I had. Basically, that's weird. I don't know what it is...

Dr was very thorough within the narrow time frame of an annual skin check appointment.

Amy Cheng is a great dermatologist. She is concerned for my comfort, answers my questions and explains/answers my issues completely.

She let us know each time what my skin conditions were and what to look for if they change. Things of concern were documented for future review

Ignoring the fact that there was no attempt to be personal with even simple introductions, it was shocking how abrupt and quick she was. She missed checking large parts of my body, some because there were sleeves on my arms others because she was just in such a hurry to get in and out of the appointment. She answered the rare questions I had time for as if I was stupid, There was no compassion . There was no discussion of what she found she just said it's pre-cancerous, asked me if I'd ever had anything frozen off before. I said I've seen it done. And BOOM, she was freezing my head. She said if this doesn't work we'll have to cut it out. She said hen you will lose some hair but you don't have very much up there anyway. So Incredibly rude. She was going so fast I could barely point out spots of concern. I had more questions but she zoomed out the door saying you'll need another appointment in a year. I felt kind of shell shocked by her behavior, I've never seen a doctor behave like her. She did such a poor job I feel this was a waste of time and money because I'll need to find a nee Dr that cares enough to do a proper job. The assistant told me appointments are only 15 minutes (which is a disturbing requirement ). I would guess the doctor was with me maybe 5 to 7 minutes . One thing I know for sure I will never return to this place.

  • About Amy Cheng, MD

I enjoy seeing patients of all ages and working to treat the whole person and not just a spot, rash or condition. I enjoy getting to know my patients so we can partner together to provide the best comprehensive care that is suited to that individual. I think it is very important for the physician and patient to work together towards a common goal for the best result possible.

    Philosophy of care

The patient should always come first.
