It seems all he cares about is a cholesterol number. He doesn't care what the effects of the medication's are on the rest of my body. I made an appointment for a Monday. I stressed that my insurance was running out at the end of the week. They ordered bloodwork and urine sample. I got the results back from LabCorp the next day, but they were missing the urine sample. I contacted them through the portal and let them know that as well as I never got my prescriptions refilled that I asked about. I received a reply on Thursday that they would have to collect another urine sample because they made a mistake. They told me they would be contacting me. By Friday I had no one contact me. I told them to just cancel the urine sample because I had no insurance and I told them to not worry about renewing my prescriptions because I don't have insurance anymore. They did not understand the importance of my insurance running out or they did not care it's been since [omitted] and I still have not received a reply from the doctor in the portal to my last conversation. I've been going there 35 years. I rehab the old building for him. And he asked me at my last appointment what I did for a living. I had to remind him that I'm the one that rehab their building. They do not give credit for blue-collar exercise, even though they have no clue how hard it is.

He always gives alternate ideas for things like losing weight, for example, exercise more and pay attention to eating. Some doctors want to start with pills or surgeries, rather than the obvious and safest way to stay healthy. He also listens to my concerns about some shots and gives me facts. I prefer a fewest medicines possible lifestyle and he helps with that.

About Eric C Schroer, MD
Dr. Schroer began his medical practice in Hilliard in 1992 and joined American Health Network in 1996. He has received recognition from the NCQA for quality care in the areas of diabetes and coronary artery disease. Dr. Schroer and his wife and four children traveled to Kenya on month long medical missions in 1999 and again in 2000. He provided medical care at a mission hospital and helped train Kenyan medical residents. Eric currently volunteers at the Xenos free clinic in Columbus.Philosophy of care
