Did a good job. Good explanation

I would not recommend this Dr. who came across as a bit cold, short, and arrogant. I presented with a ganglion cyst on my right wrist. He told me that he would not aspirate it as I requested, he said that he was the expert ,and suggested that I have a surgically removed in the OR to prevent infection and the Dr. who had aspirated it in the past ( more than 6 years ago) was wrong in doing so. Both remedies could potentially open me up for infection and could both potentially not solve the problem. His follow up notes were inaccurate. He did not physically examine my wrist, yet notated the range of motion by degrees and said that my grip strength was normal which it is not. He did not Touch my wrist, flex my wrist, or get an x-ray of my wrist all which is stated in my follow up notes that the x-ray was reviewed and interpreted. He also notated that I continue my current pain medication and not to exceed the daily maximum dose……This was never discussed. I left the office with the mindset that he would not touch it. He may be a great doctor, and the expert in his field, all I know is I have had this cyst aspirated twice over the past 20 years. It was no big deal and fixed within minutes during an office visit with a needle. I didn't have to waste thousands of dollars to get cut open in an OR.

Excellent doctor
-
He was very knowledgeable and carry about my condition.
-
Because he is prompt, compassionate and takes time to educate patients and their caregivers. This is the second time I have seen him and would definitely recommend him.
-
Very informative and respectful
-
HE HAD SOME WARM AND CAREING CONSIDERATION.
-
Friendly, courteous, answered my questions, provided options for care. Pleasant experience.
-
Bedside manner could use some work. Provider belittled my pain level and told me pain is what happens when you get old.
-
I understand everybody has a bad day, and I'm attributing this to his attitude on my first visit. I also understand that not everybody has the best bedside manner and he could be a brilliant surgeon which is something that is valuable. Fortunately, I don't need surgery, so cannot speak to this. I also understand that places like Crystal Run pile on patients for the physicians to make money and as a result, the physicians are under a lot of pressure and have numerous people scheduled back to back. I frankly blame the organization for this, not the doctor. It felt as though there was a quota of people he had to meet with based on the limited amount of time I received during my first visit.
