Dr. Avella comes into my visits ready to help me find help for my issues. Early on, he recommended a statin for me and I balked at it (my numbers were slightly out of range). He said I didn't have to take it if I didn't want too. I then thought about it again and realized it was a small dose and my numbers have always been slightly over. I figured his judgement was reasonable and experienced, so I'm taken a lose dose of a statin. I trust him because of that.
