she is kind, thoughtful, patient, and knowledgeable. she discussed my issues with abrams wherever she wasn't sure about any of the issues we discussed.

Sydney is a PA who saw me regarding a heart rhythm issue. She was generally knowledgable, but I did not find that she communicated all that effectively with me regarding the nature of the rhythm issues and the pharmacological and surgical options. And she seemed to present a rigid (not very nuanced) description of options. I am fairly knowledgable regarding my rhythm issues and can diagnose many of my arrhythmias based on ECG traces. Some of her responses were a little dumbed down for my level of understanding and frankly didn't make sense to me. I subsequently saw the EP (Dr. Abrams) and had a better conversation with him.

Looking back on my interview with Sydney, I would like to have had more info about the fact that I would have to have a monitor in my bedroom after the procedure. That was unsettling to me to learn after the implantation.
