Doctor Penny was extremely thorough in her care for me. She asked me about every aspect of my health, along with reviewing my past medical history. Dr. Penny answered my questions and explained why some things work for my health and other things don't. Overall, I felt that Dr. Penny was exactly what a female needs in a cardiologist. She is thorough, and she cares about your health! That is a very difficult quality to find in a doctor, in the medical field these days. Thank you Dr. Sherma Winchester-Penny for caring. 😊

She is one of the most caring and informative doctors I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. She took as much time with me as I needed. She understood the seriousness of what I was describing, and ordered a test which other doctors had not ordered. A test the results of which could literally have saved my life. All because she truly listened to me.
She is extremely personable and genuinely interested in caring for me. She has had a couple of oversights, though, with my care. I was diagnosed with early CAD in 2024 and she did not recommend I take a low dose aspiring daily. My primary physician told me to do so. And, she did not tell me to stop taking the aspiring a week before my recent surgery; my primary physician again told me. Just a blip but it's important.
