Answered most of my questions.

My first interaction with Dr. Lessner was in the Emergency Department. He was in scrubs so I assumed that he was either coming from or going to a surgery. He indicated that there was little time to thoroughly describe in detail how I might be a good candidate for the SVT ablation. He encouraged me to schedule an office visit where he would have more time, charts and such to thoroughly inform me about the procedure. I scheduled an appointment and met with him a couple weeks later. At that time he described the procedure in detail. I had also done my own research on it prior to the appointment. When I asked what was it that I needed to do about my heart he said that “ this (SVT ablation), was the definitive thing to do”. However, I did recall that the cardiologist in the Emergency Department had also mentioned doing a cardiovascular angiogram as another possible way to assess why I was having SVT. After the office visit I also gathered more information and insights from people I knew who had issues with arrhythmia.
