Words cannot express the degree to which Dr. Spinelli has helped me in my physical and mental health recently, and how much I believe he exemplifies exceptional quality care. I have already been recommending him to all of my friends. I came to Dr. Spinelli during a very difficult time in my life health-wise where my condition was incapacitating me, and unfortunately my prior provider at Mount Sinai Noho was delivering the worst quality care I could've gotten (not listening to me, going down all the wrong avenues, long wait times, impossible to get in touch with doctor, no follow ups even when requested). I had truthfully lost a bit of hope in the healthcare industry even though I myself work in this field. I chose Dr. Spinelli because his profile indicated he cares for patients holistically, and had multiple awards demonstrating high quality care. Now after having 3 visits with Dr. Spinelli over a 3 week period, I am in awe by how much of an amazing doctor he is and the degree of positive impact that an exceptional doctor and human being such as Dr. Spinelli can have on one's life. Quite literally he has reinvented what it means to have a high quality primary care doctor. He always takes his time to listen to me thoroughly (even when I have a lot to say and I know I'm making him late to his next visit), he's incredibly patient, extremely caring, makes me feel heard and seen and above all else I feel that we are solving my health problem as co-leads each with our own expertise, as opposed to a service I'm receiving from someone who is trying to do things based on rigid rules learned in a textbook to then end the visit as soon as possible and move no to the next patient. He's incredibly intelligent and has amazing clinical guidance, all rooted in the symptoms/feelings that I surface (which has never been the case for me prior - other doctors go down routes that make no sense based on how I'm feeling, and they feel they innately know better than the patient). It is owed to this amazing quality care that I'm now improving in my condition and feel hopeful for the future, which is a gift that I will forever be so grateful for. Goes without saying that I could not recommend him enough.
