Very much speeds his way through physicals, didn’t give me any chances to ask questions, and generally seemed more interested in getting me out of there

Dr Shah shows care for a patient and explain, talk to the patient and also listen, and make sure that the patient has the care that it needs, even when I just saw him for the first time, since Dr. Fakhoury cancelled my appt. with him 3 times! with no explanation, which I am very concerned about my health.

Dr Shah has been my primary doctor since before my autoimmune diagnosis however he has never made it a point to be up to date with my medical history or current medical records. When I try to talk to him about my health issues he doesn’t listen to me and just wants to get me out the door. This last appointment was the last time I will be seeing him as he has now decided that he is withholding one of my medications due to me not wanting to go on a medication that I know I do not need. He is rude and never makes me feel comfortable nor does he make me feel confident in my medical care.

I think the issue is the expectations of the Quantity of paitients and the double booking and the Doctors are expected to see a specific number of patients in blocked amount of time. Health Care is personal . and more than just a test result number or survey.
