I will copy and paste what i wrote earlier: You guys have become all about the money. Overbooking too many people, people having to wait a long time in the waiting room, then when people get seen they don't get proper care, attention, or time anymore. When I see Dr. Michael Glasser now he is trying to get in and out of the room as quickly as possible. It feels terrible. You should set aside time for each patient to really be able to take care of them and help them as a doctor should. You should set aside at least 30 minutes in the room for each patient who has an appointment. And if all 30 minutes are needed then that's how it should go. The doctor should want to really sit down and have a real conversation with the patient every time. They should ask a lot of questions, and thoroughly answer all the patient's questions, provide very calming and caring bedside manner, and never make the patient feel rushed. All of that is the opposite now, it's so easy to tell all you're trying to do is fly through as many patients as possible to collect as much money as possible. Me for instance, I currently am dealing with several major issues, and I am looking for someone to really help me and care about me, as they still haven't been diagnosed and fixed yet. But I don't get that at Optum anymore. And it's so cold that it's so hard to get in touch with the doctors by phone, and they don't want to call you by phone either. Your primary care doctor especially should be reachable via phone. And for instance when they want to go through results from an appointment with you, they should definitely be calling you to go through it, see what questions you have. Everything happening through messaging on the online portal is so cold and impersonal, and such disjointed communication. Also I'll tell you I had an issue with Dr. Francis O'Brien my new cardiologist (he was rude, he booked me for a virtual appointment then when I showed up to it he lashed out at me and said he doesn't do virtual appointments, etc), and when I asked to speak to his supervisor instead of the team having the supervisor contact me, they made me contact his supervisor. And of course, I couldn't just call him, I had to message him. And of course when I messaged him, I still haven't received a response from him. I could go on, but I think you get it.

Dr. Michael Glasser is the Best primary care physician. His assistant, Diona is attentive and helpful. The Optum Medical Care website is efficient and helpful. The only caveat or problem is Epic Systems which owns the MyChart platform for Optum, Northwell and other medical providers. I recently created a Northwell MyChart account. This caused Epic to confuse the two different platforms and providers. I was unable to log into my Optum Medical account for over one week until I figured out the problem myself ! The Epic MyChart phone reps at [omitted] are clueless and Not helpful. Also most of them do Not speak English !
